Join us for our upcoming fall Grad seminar from Sept 23-30 at
Round Top Festival Institute, between Austin & Houston Texas
Short Summary
This one-week seminar for TLC graduates explores and utilizes the performing arts in ways that contribute and enhance the effectiveness of the trial lawyer. No other TLC seminar calls on the performing arts to the degree that Grad 1 does. As an artist’s palette cannot always be just black and white, so too can not a trial lawyer expect to tell their clients’ stories just in black and white.
At Grad 1, students will be taught by TLC lawyer faculty, licensed psychodramatists, and Special Guest Instructor Jesse Wilson to learn that stories, like most art, need to include color and vibrancy, dimension and expression.
And once explored and discovered, these honed creative skills will be available to further students’ credibility, authenticity, and ultimately their ability to win their cases in the courtroom.
Like at all TLC seminars, students will work on their feet during three sessions a day. Come prepared to work.
And once explored, these honed creative abilities will be utilized by TLC graduates to further the understanding and utilization of the trial skills that were introduced and taught in the TLC three-week college.

TLC’s Grad 1 Seminar is an intensive, one-week program that explores the arts in a way that contributes to the art of being a trial lawyer – one’s voice, one’s demeanor and movement, one’s body language.
At Grad 1, students will explore performance thru every aspect of artistic expression as well as learn about their fears of performance in the courtroom where every word, every look, every action has an impact on their juries and on the outcome of their clients’ cases.
